We, the I.V. Community Watch Service Group, provides comprehensive information and tutorials on: Emergency phone tree and preparedness, the Neighborhood/Fire Watch Program, property defendable space, home ignition zone, evacuation prepping, C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team – access to the Local Chapter), radios (programed baofengs in stock), neighborhood Alert Notification System (smart phone). We are an independent common law Community Chartered entity … non corporate.
MEETINGS:
The Last physical meetings we had were at Wild Rivers Pizza, CJ: Thursday, May 22 & June 26th , 6 – 7 PM, 2025.
TOPICS were: Communications, 2 way radios – tutorial handout & training. Also we subscribe your neighbors to their own Neighborhood Alert Notification System linking up their smart phones – with GroupMe.
We had 12 in May, and 5 people in June that watched the presentation from the May 29th Community Fire Preparation Presentation @ IVFire Station #1, C.J. Programed 2 radios. Discussed Fire & Crime, local Watch Building tools.

You’ll know what’s going on directly within an Emergency Incident. I’ll give you personal help as needed to get radio literate.
